Cyprus needs one important distinction before the price comparison: this guide covers the southern part of the island, including Larnaca, Paphos, Limassol, Ayia Napa, Protaras and southern Nicosia. If your trip includes Kyrenia, northern Nicosia or arrival at Ercan Airport, see our separate guide to the best eSIMs for Northern Cyprus.
Roafly has the lowest standard prices for both 10 GB and 20 GB among the five providers compared below, with 30 days of validity. Its Cyprus plans combine Vodafone and Epic network access with hotspot sharing across your purchased allowance.
The clearest price advantage is at 10 GB. Beyond price, your decision comes down to how much data you will use, whether you need hotspot access and whether your itinerary crosses into the north.
Every package in this table is a fixed-data Cyprus plan valid for 30 days. Comparing the same allowance and validity keeps shorter offers and unlimited plans from distorting the result.
| Provider | 10 GB / 30 days | 20 GB / 30 days | Local networks |
|---|---|---|---|
| Roafly | $12.00 | $18.00 | Vodafone, Epic |
| Airalo | $16.00 | $19.00 | PrimeTel |
| Saily | $16.99 | $24.99 | Not named on its Cyprus page |
| Roamless | $15.95 | $18.95 | Cyta, MTN—the former Epic brand |
| Nomad | $16.00 | $19.00 | Epic, PrimeTel |
Standard USD prices and network information checked on 22 October 2026, before coupon discounts or loyalty credits. Prices and supported networks can change.
Roafly’s 10 GB package costs $4 less than Airalo and Nomad, a 25% saving for the same allowance and validity. The difference is $3.95 against Roamless and $4.99 against Saily.
At 20 GB, Roafly still has the lowest price in this selected comparison, although the gap is smaller against Airalo, Nomad and Roamless. That makes the 10 GB package the stronger price differentiator, while 20 GB offers more room for heavier use.
Roafly combines competitive pricing with access to Vodafone and Epic, giving you two supported network options for a trip around southern Cyprus. Both compared packages support 4G/5G where available.
Hotspot sharing uses the same allowance as your phone, with no separate hotspot quota. That is useful when you need to connect a laptop at your accommodation or share data with another device during a day out.
The plans are prepaid, support top-ups and do not renew automatically. Their validity starts when the eSIM connects to a supported network, so you can install it before departure using a reliable internet connection.
These are data-only packages without a local phone number. WhatsApp and other internet-based messaging and calling apps can continue using your existing account.

Airalo’s Cyprus packages use PrimeTel. Its 10 GB plan costs more than Roafly’s, while the 20 GB price is much closer.
Existing Airalo users may prefer to manage another trip in the same app. On standard prices alone, however, neither of the matched packages beats Roafly. Airalo also sells Northern Cyprus separately, so selecting the correct destination matters.
Saily supports hotspot sharing and offers security features such as virtual-location changes and tools to reduce trackers and malicious ads. Those extras may matter if you want them alongside mobile data.
Its 10 GB and 20 GB packages are the most expensive in this comparison. The Cyprus page does not identify the local carrier and explicitly excludes North Cyprus.
Roamless offers both 30-day data packages and a separate pay-as-you-go balance. The table compares its fixed packages, rather than multiplying a pay-as-you-go rate by the required allowance.
Its non-expiring pay-as-you-go balance may suit occasional use across multiple trips. The fixed Cyprus packages still expire after 30 days, and their standard prices are slightly higher than Roafly’s at 20 GB and more noticeably higher at 10 GB.
Nomad’s compared Cyprus packages support Epic and PrimeTel, with hotspot use available. It also offers add-on data for supported plans.
Its 10 GB package costs the same as Airalo’s, and its 20 GB package is $1 above Roafly’s. Network access is therefore a more meaningful distinction than price between Nomad and Airalo in these two tiers.
Your daily habits matter more than the number of nights on the booking.
10 GB is a sensible starting point if you mainly need navigation, messaging, restaurant searches, tickets and occasional social media, while using accommodation Wi-Fi for downloads and longer video sessions. It suits a trip where your phone helps you get around without becoming your main source of entertainment.
20 GB gives you more flexibility for frequent video calls, social media uploads, hotspot sharing or days spent away from Wi-Fi. It is also easier to justify when two devices will draw from the same allowance.
With Roafly, moving from 10 GB to 20 GB costs $6 more and doubles the data without changing the 30-day validity. Buy the larger package when you expect to use it; a lower price per gigabyte is only useful if the extra allowance serves your trip.
Before leaving, download offline maps and move large app updates and photo backups to Wi-Fi. Laptop updates can consume shared mobile data surprisingly quickly.

Roafly’s Vodafone listing refers to the local Cytamobile-Vodafone network associated with Cyta. Cyta identifies that network name in its information for visiting mobile users. Epic is the other supported network on the Roafly packages compared here.
Independent measurements provide useful context. SpeedGEO’s Cyprus mobile results for 1 October 2025 to 30 September 2026 placed Epic first for average download speed among the listed operators. These are national user-test results, rather than speed tests of the travel eSIM packages in this guide.
For your own trip, the practical benefit of two supported networks is having another available network option where supported. It does not promise automatic switching to the fastest connection or identical reception everywhere.
A coastal itinerary through Larnaca, Limassol and Paphos also places different demands on connectivity from a drive into Troodos. Keep navigation available offline for mountain routes, and expect signal and speeds to vary with terrain, buildings and local conditions.
Do not assume that a package labelled “Cyprus” covers both sides of the island. The local networks and travel-plan coverage differ.
Saily explicitly excludes the north from its Cyprus plan. Airalo sells a separate Northern Cyprus product, and Roafly also offers dedicated Northern Cyprus packages. These are useful reminders that a country label alone is not enough to establish cross-island coverage.
If you plan to cross in Nicosia or spend time in both parts of the island, arrange coverage for each part before travelling. Whether that means buying another package or installing another eSIM depends on the provider.
Also keep your home SIM’s roaming settings under control. Buying a travel eSIM does not stop another active line from connecting or generating charges. Set the intended eSIM as your mobile-data line and disable automatic mobile-data switching if you do not want the phone to fall back to your home SIM.
Your existing mobile plan may already be sufficient. Eligible EU/EEA subscriptions generally include roaming in Cyprus under Roam Like at Home rules, subject to the plan’s roaming allowance and fair-use conditions.
Check how much data you can actually use abroad. Your domestic allowance and roaming allowance may differ, particularly with unlimited or very inexpensive plans.
If your included allowance covers the trip, you may not need another data package. A travel eSIM becomes more useful when your home plan charges extra, provides too little roaming data or leaves you wanting a separate prepaid allowance. Northern Cyprus coverage still needs its own check.
First, confirm that your exact phone model supports eSIM and is carrier-unlocked. Roafly’s eSIM compatibility list is a useful starting point, especially when the same model is sold in different regional versions.
Install the eSIM while you have dependable Wi-Fi, following the iPhone and Android installation guide. Keep the setup instructions available offline.
On arrival:
Turn on the travel eSIM and select it for mobile data.
Enable data roaming on that eSIM as instructed.
Keep data roaming disabled on your home SIM if you do not intend to use its roaming service.
Roafly’s compared plans begin their validity when they connect to a supported network. Once connected, test maps or messaging before leaving the airport, so any setup issue can be resolved while Wi-Fi is still available.
