What Yettel means for a trip beyond Belgrade

Serbia’s main mobile networks are Yettel, A1 and Telekom Srbija, whose mobile service operates under the mts brand. The eSIM provider handles your purchase and plan; the listed Serbian network supplies the local radio connection.

Yettel gives Roafly a credible network foundation. In the March 2026 umlaut mobile benchmark, Yettel scored 911 out of 1,000, ahead of mts at 893 and A1 at 891. The assessment covered several aspects of network performance, rather than download speed alone.

That distinction matters. Airalo

Airalo’s fixed-data Serbia packages use A1 and sit slightly above Roafly’s prices at the three allowances compared. The main distinction here is the local network. Existing Airalo users may value managing another trip in the same app, but Roafly costs less for the equivalent 30-day data allowance.

Saily

Saily’s prices are close to Airalo’s, and hotspot use has no separate restriction. Its Serbia offer does not name the local partner network, which gives buyers less certainty about the operator they are purchasing access to. Roafly combines a lower price with a clearly identified Yettel connection.

aloSIM

aloSIM lists both A1 and Telenor, the former name of Yettel. That disclosed two-network arrangement is a useful distinction, especially if you want an alternative to an offer listing only one operator.

Roamless

Holafly

Holafly’s unlimited plans may appeal if you expect heavy use on the phone itself. Hotspot sharing is limited to 1 GB per day, however, and fair-use management can temporarily reduce connection speeds.

Serbia, EU roaming and a wider Balkan route

Serbia is outside the EU/EEA’s standard “Roam Like at Home” area. Does EU roaming include Serbia?
