A Top-up (adding more data) is only possible while your current eSIM plan is still active.
The Rule:

If your data plan has expired (reached its 7, 15, or 30-day limit), you cannot add a Top-up to that specific eSIM.

In this case, you must purchase a new eSIM plan from the Roafly app and install it as a new line.

Pro Tip: Always check your remaining days in the Roafly app and Top-up before the expiration date to keep using the same eSIM.
