I accidentally deleted my eSIM, what should I do?

If you have accidentally deleted your eSIM profile from your phone settings, please stop and read this carefully. Deleting an eSIM is a permanent action.

The Technical Reality: An eSIM is a unique digital key. Once you tap "Delete" or "Remove Cellular Plan," that specific digital key is destroyed by your phone's hardware for security reasons. Roafly (or any other provider) cannot "undelete" or restore a profile once it has been removed from a device.

Is there any way to fix it?

Step 1: The "Maybe It's Still There" Check

Sometimes, people think they deleted it, but they only turned it off.

  • Go to Settings > Cellular (Mobile Data).

  • Check the list of SIMs. Do you see any plan named "Secondary", "Travel", "Business" or "Carrier"?

  • If you see one, turn it ON and match the ICCID with the one in your Roafly app. If it matches, you didn't delete it!

Step 2: Try Re-installing (One Last Attempt)

If the profile was not fully deleted or the installation failed midway, you might still have a chance:

  • Open the Roafly app > My eSIMs > Install eSIM.

  • Try the Manual Installation or Direct Installation methods again.

  • If it says "Code no longer valid" or "Already used": This confirms the eSIM is permanently gone.

The Final Solution:

If Step 1 and Step 2 do not work, the eSIM is officially lost.

  • Can I get a refund? Unfortunately, no. Since the deletion is an action performed by the user on the device, we cannot offer a refund for deleted plans.

  • How do I get internet back? You will need to purchase a new eSIM plan from the Roafly app to regain connectivity.

⚠️ Pro Tip: If your internet is not working, NEVER delete the eSIM. Deleting it will never fix a connection issue; it will only make it permanent. Always follow our Troubleshooting Guide instead.
